The MG Majestor has been launched in Nepal during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, becoming the new flagship internal combustion SUV in the JSW MG lineup. The full-size three-row SUV arrives in Nepal with a focus on premium features, strong road presence and off-road capability.
The MG Majestor is priced at Rs 2.50 Crore in Nepal and enters the full-size SUV segment, where it competes primarily with established models such as the Toyota Fortuner.
The Majestor gets a more imposing exterior design, featuring a large octagonal grille, split LED headlamps, vertically stacked LED DRLs and a more upright stance. Its larger proportions further reinforce its flagship positioning, with the SUV measuring over five metres in length and featuring a 2,950 mm wheelbase.
Inside, the MG Majestor gets a premium and technology-focused cabin. The dashboard features dual 12.3-inch displaysfor infotainment and driver information, while other highlights include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, three-zone automatic climate control and dual wireless charging pads.
The front seats come with ventilation and massage functions, while the driver gets a 12-way electrically adjustable seat with memory function. A premium audio system further adds to the SUV's upmarket cabin experience.
The safety package includes Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a 360-degree camera and six airbags, along with other electronic safety and driver-assistance systems.
Power comes from a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine producing around 213 hp and 478 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, with the four-wheel-drive version adding enhanced off-road capability.
The 4WD variant comes equipped with multiple terrain modes, a crawl function and locking differentials, allowing the Majestor to tackle challenging terrain with greater capability than a conventional road-focused SUV.
The Majestor's arrival also marks an expansion of the MG brand's flagship portfolio in Nepal. JSW MG Motor India recently appointed G.O. Automobiles as the official distributor for India-manufactured MG vehicles in Nepal, strengthening the brand's presence in the local market.
With its large dimensions, three-row seating, twin-turbo diesel powertrain, premium cabin and available four-wheel-drive system, the MG Majestor is positioned as a more premium and capable alternative in Nepal's full-size SUV segment.
